RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
• Approval of the Resolution.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• Western Specialty Contractors of America (Western) has submitted a proposal to provide additional Design/Build Services for the McKinney Silos Restoration Project (GR2109) in the amount of $8,980.00.
• This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a Design/Build Services Change Order with Western to provide additional construction and engineering services and potential changes to that scope of services for graffiti protection of the McKinney Silos Restoration Project in an amount not to exceed Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars $9,980.00 which includes a contingency of $1,000.00.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• On January 4, 2022, the City of McKinney authorized a contract for Design/Build Services in conjunction with the McKinney Silos Restoration Project (GR2109) and potential future changes to that scope of services with Western in association with JQ Engineering.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• Upon approval of this resolution, the amount remaining in Project GR2109 will be $6,116.62.
