BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The McKinney Housing Authority consists of five (5) Commissioners appointed by the City Council, at least one of whom shall be a resident of the Housing Authority program.
• The McKinney Housing Authority was established by the City of McKinney in 1949. It is a local government, authorized by Chapter 392 of the Texas Local Government Code (the Housing Authority Law), and operates in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings and Public Information Acts.
