RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Reappoint Kurt Kuehn to serve the remainder of his term recently vacated under the Amended and Restated Policy on Board and Commission Appointment and Eligibility, effective immediately, and until September 30, 2024.

• Kurt Kuehn has requested reappointment to the MEDC to fulfill the remainder of his term.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Amended and Restated Policy on Board and Commission Appointment and Eligibility, adopted March 1, 2022, provides that a board member automatically resigns his/her term upon the filing for certain elective offices. Mr. Kuehn has recently filed for elective office as a Prosper ISD trustee.
• If elected, Mr. Kuehn may continue to serve on the MEDC board of directors under state law and the referenced policy.
