ITEM SUMMARY:
* This resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. (Parkhill) to provide additional professional architectural and engineering services for the design of the Old Settler's Park Improvements Project (PK2041), for an increase in the not to exceed from $76,700 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $890,000.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Parkhill is currently under contract with the City for design and construction administration services related to the Old Settler's Park Improvements Project. The current scope is limited to the central area of the park, specifically the playground and pavilion area.
* As design on the project has progressed, additional services are required to expand the design area of the 2020 Old Settler's Master Plan to include the hardened edges along the creek, splashpad, adult fitness areas, parking, pavilions, and other amenities which were not included in Parkhill's original contract.
