ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with Beacon Emergency Services Team, PA dba BEST MES to continue providing a Burse Practitioner for the McKinney Fire Department.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• The Fire Department currently features a Nurse Practitioner who fills many roles in the department’s community health profile.
• Beacon Emergency Services Team, PA dba BEST EMS, was selected through a formal RFQ process to provide Nurse Practitioner Services in March 2021.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with Beacon Emergency Services Team, PA dba BEST EMS for an annual not to exceed amount of $160,000.
• This is an extension of the current contract with the same terms and payments.
