RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:

ITEM SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with DEC - North Texas, LLC to provide additional professional engineering services for the design of the DEC - North Texas, LLC Project (WA0210) for an increase in the not to exceed from $280,000 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $291,440.00.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• DEC - North Texas, LLC is currently under contract with the City for design and construction administration services related to the Independence Parkway 24 inch waterline project.
• DEC - North Texas, LLC submitted a proposal for $11,440 for these additional services ($291,440 aggregate contract total), which has been reviewed by staff and exceeds the previously authorized not to exceed amount of $280,000.
FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
• This Resolution authorizes a supplemental agreement with DEC - North Texas, LLC., for an increase to not to exceed contract amount from $280,000 to a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $291,440.
• With approval of this item, $2,113,855.00 will remain in project WA0210.
