• Adopt a resolution recognizing the service of Jaymie Pedigo, former Executive Director of Chestnut Square Historic Village, and her contributions to historic preservation efforts in McKinney.
ITEM SUMMARY:
• This resolution recognizes Jaymie Pedigo for her longstanding service to historic preservation efforts in McKinney.
• Jaymie Pedigo served as the Executive Director of the Heritage Guild of Collin County’s Chestnut Square Historic Village from 2015 to 2024.
• While in that position, she stewarded the preservation of the historic properties at the village and advocated for historic preservation of McKinney’s heritage through education, outreach, and stewardship of historic properties.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
• This Historic Preservation Advisory Board has expressed its desire to formally recognize her service and dedication to historic preservation in McKinney.
