RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $321,600.00, as well as all required supplemental agreements thereto, with Terracon Consultants, Inc. for geotechnical and materials testing services for the construction of the SH 5 Utility Relocations Project (CIP Projects WA1633 and WW1633), for a total aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any supplemental agreements, not to exceed $375,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* A concurrent item is included on the Council Agenda recommending award of a construction contract for the SH 5 Utility Relocations Project (CIP Projects WA1633 and WW1633).
* Materials testing services will be required on the project to ensure construction materials used by the contractor meet or exceed City requirements.
* Terracon Consultants, Inc. submitted a response to 24-13RFQ for On-call Miscellaneous Geotechnical and Materials Testing Services. Terracon was one of six (6) firms shortlisted by City Council on March 5, 2024.
* Terracon Consultants, Inc. has successfully performed in a similar capacity on numerous City projects.
* Terracon Consultants, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide geotechnical and materials testing services for the construction of the SH 5 Utility Relocations project in the amount of $321,600.00 which has bee...
