ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract and all necessary change orders with Nu-Way Construction LLC for the Construction of Taxilane A4 project for a total contract amount not to exceed $2,493,500
* This is part of project Al2455, Taxilane A4 project.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The TIRZ2 Board passed Resolution 2023-11-001 (TIRZ2) approving funding for McKinney National Airport Project AI2455, Access Taxilane A4, in the amount of $2,864,000.
* City Council passed Ordinance 2023-11-074 amending the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Annual Budget and the 2024-2028 Capital Improvements Program to provide funding for Project AI2455, Access Taxilane A4.
* Garver, LLC prepared the construction plans for the Taxilane A4 project.
* The City issued an Invitation to Bid (24-28CC) to solicit responses from qualified contractors for the Construction of Taxilane A4 on February 04, 2024.
