RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes a construction agreement to provide construction services related to the construction of McKinney Air Center Hangar No. 2 located at the McKinney National Airport for an amount not to exceed $1,290,854 and subject to the successful negotiation of terms and conditions.
* Six firms submitted competitive sealed proposals that were evaluated by City staff from the Airport, Finance and Public Works departments.
* According to the evaluation team scores J.C. Commercial, Inc. was clearly the top ranked firm and is recommended for selection for the project.
* Aviation is one of the primary markets that J.C. Commercial, Inc. serves and they have completed numerous airport hangars and other pre-manufactured facilities in Texas.
* J.C. Commercial, Inc. submitted a competitive sealed proposal in the amount of $1,225,854 which detailed a base bid of $1,197,777 and an alternate parking package for $28,077.
