ITEM SUMMARY:
*? This amendment will revise the proportionate contribution by the City of McKinney for the construction of Trinity Falls Parkway associated with additional construction costs associated with median and driveway improvements previously approved by the Engineering Department beyond the scope of the original construction documents.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On November 21, 2018, the McKinney Municipal Utility District (MUD) No. 1 of Collin County and the City entered into the original agreement associated with funding for the construction of Trinity Falls Parkway from Laud Howell Parkway to FM 543.
* Construction along Trinity Falls Parkway has been underway as of February 2019.
* The City has determined that additional access management improvements (median opening and driveways) are necessary to support the overall function and improve safety along the proposed divided roadway.
* The additional improvements generally include construction of an additional median opening, modification to the design of an existing driveway, and construction of an additional driveway.
* A proposed change order has been prepared by the contractor and reviewed by the City for these additional improvements.
