RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract amendment to the Design/Build Services Agreement with ScoBilt Contractors, Inc., (ScoBilt) related to the Old Settler's Recreation Center Renovation Project (PK4398) for an amount not to exceed $796,950.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* On February 5, 2019, the City of McKinney authorized a contract for Design/Build Services in conjunction with the Old Settler's Recreation Center Renovation Project (PK4398) and potential future changes to that scope of services with ScoBilt in association with Spurgin & Associates Architects.
* ScoBilt has submitted a proposal in an amount not to exceed $796,950 to provide additional construction services including such items as installation of a commercial warming kitchen, security cameras, a new roof for this phase and enhancements to the landscaping and plaza at the front of the building.
* ScoBilt is a 40 year old general contracting firm that has performed renovation projects in both the public and private arenas; they have successfully completed multiple design / build projects with Spurgin & Associates Architects on several projects for the City of McKinney including the pre-construction...
