RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a supplemental agreement with Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) to provide additional materials testing services for the construction of the Accessibility Improvements Eastside Phase I Project (ST1649) for an increase in the contract amount from $49,900 to $56,980 and authorizing all necessary supplemental agreements under said contract up to an aggregate contract amount, inclusive of any additional supplemental agreements, not to exceed $66,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) is currently under contract with the City for materials testing services related to the Accessibility Improvements Eastside Phase I Project (ST1649) currently under construction.
* Construction began in June 2019 and is expected to be completed by September 2020.
* The initial budget estimate was developed based on assumptions made of required testing to complete the project.
* As construction on the project has progressed, additional testing services have been requested due to an increased quantity of pavement replacement throughout the project. Additionally, adjusted phasing of construction has led to an increased quantity of testing needs. Professional Service Industries, Inc.
