ITEM SUMMARY: 

                     Item is Resolution of support for Seed Project Foundation’s project to be located on a portion of the City’s Gray Branch Park.   Project will consist of both a farm & community education program.  

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

                     This item was initially discussed at the October 15, 2024 City Council Meeting & March 25, 2025 City Council Work Session.   Item was also discussed at the November 14, 2024 & February 13, 2025 Parks, Recreation & Open Space Board (PROS).  

 

FINANCIAL SUMMARY: 

                     N/A.  In-Kind benefits from the city will be in the form of allowing usage of city land at free and/or discounted rates.

 

BOARD OR COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:

                     Item was recommended for approval at the February 13, 2025 PROS Board meeting by a vote of 5-1.
