RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution.

ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a $15,000 contract amendment with Crossland Construction Company, Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk for McKinney Fire Station 10 located at 1150 Olympic Crossing (formerly CR 228), McKinney, Texas 75071, related to the installation of various Fire Department training props.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* Crossland Construction was approved by City Council as the Construction Manager at Risk for McKinney Fire Station 10 on July 17, 2018 and a contract amendment for the guaranteed maximum price contract was approved on December 18, 2018.
* McKinney Fire Station 10 (MFS10) was completed and opened for operation on time and within the original budget which did not contemplate the installation of all of the training props that might be needed for the new training yard at this station.
* The Fire Department recently requested that Crossland Construction provide a proposal for the installation of new Fire Department training props at MFS10 and Crossland has submitted their proposal for $12,000.
