RECOMMENDED CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
* Approval of the Resolution
ITEM SUMMARY:
* This Resolution establishes a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $5,477,280 as proposed by Crossland Construction Company, Inc. which includes a construction manager's fee of 4.25%.
* This Resolution authorizes the City Manager to execute a GMP Amendment to the contract with Crossland Construction Company, Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the McKinney National Airport Airfield Maintenance and Storage Building (TKI-SRE).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
* The construction documents were issued on September 30, 2022 and have been advertised for bids by Crossland Construction Company, Inc.
* Crossland has compiled the bids and submitted a final Guaranteed Maximum Price for approval.
* With this approval, Crossland will be notified to begin construction with completion scheduled for December 2023.
* Crossland Construction Company, Inc. is ranked among the top general contractors in North Texas and the nation. They are a Prosper, Texas based firm and have successfully completed multiple projects for McKinney and many other municipalities.
